Every Masonic Lodge is rich in history and tradition. Some of Connecticut Lodges date to the 1700's, but every Lodge has a rich historical significance to share.

Our Lodge History - 242 Years

The year of 2008 is a historical event for both

Stratford, Connecticut and Connecticut Freemasonry.

St. John's Lodge #8 was chartered on April 22, 1766

and

is celebrating its 242nd year under the merged name of

America-St. John's Lodge #8, A.F. & A.M.

now composed of three merged Lodges:

St. John's # 8 America #132 Temple #127
